Description

The ButtKicker mini LFE is a patented 4 ohm low frequency transducer that features a 6 Oz. (0.17 kg) magnetically suspended piston. The ButtKicker mini LFE is accurate, provides powerful frequency response, is virtually indestructible, and requires no maintenance.

With a frequency response range of approximately 5Hz to 200Hz the ButtKicker mini LFE provides powerful tactile response without the sound pressure of a subwoofer. The ButtKicker mini LFE is an ideal solution for single seats and simulators. Up to eight mini LFE transducers can be driven by one BKA1000-N amplifier, providing powerful tactile response for your home theater at a great price point.

The ButtKicker mini LFE requires a minimum of 50 watts and we recommend a maximum of 250 watts. The ButtKicker mini LFE connects to your ButtKicker power amplifier via a speaker wire tail (the white lead is positive, the black lead is negative); we recommend 14 gauge speaker wire for normal installs and 12 gauge wire for lengthy wire runs.

    Ordered two..
Already knew what I was getting so ordered 2. Very happy with the purchase.

    Bang! for the buck
Best upgrade to my home theater, I have two of theses under a 4 seat couch, and I definitly recommand it.

  3. AC

It adds a whole new level to immersion in games. Software can make it even better. I have it bolted to the bottom of my gaming chair and i can feel it in my whole body. Also really nice to lean back and listen to music in the chair with this on.

  4. Cyclocommuter

I bought two of these and paired them to a Monoprice Unity 100W amplifier (2 x 65W at 4 ohms). Both ButtKickers are mounted on an Ikea Poang couch. The Monoprice amp powering the ButtKickers is wired from a parallel subwoofer line output from the electronic crossover feeding the subwoofer.

After a few days of watching movies and TV shows I have the ButtKickers dialed in to match the output of my subwoofer… I am very pleased with the results. The ButtKickers are mostly active only when they are needed such as during action scenes such and also on sound tracks featuring deep bass that usually signify impending doom and gloom.

One other benefit of having the ButtKickers is I could now dial down the sub especially when watching at night so as not to bother folks who are asleep.

  5. logicalOctopus

What a great way to add emphasis to your subwoofer. Your bass will sound ten times better even though its not actually producing any more sound. The tactile experience makes it feel like you can hear way down into the subspectrum. Buttkicker brand is probably one of the best you’ll find and the cost when paired with a small subwoofer amp still comes in under $200. What a great addition!
